I have not given the iPhone hardly any coverage here on this blog. Why is that? Because I believe that it is an overrated pile of poop on a stick, to be blunt. It’s nothing more then a cool hand held device that does everything but be a phone for you.
I use to be into a phone that has all the bells and whistles. I say use to be, as I am still not impressed with most hand held phone capabilities. Yes, there are phones out there that have you connected 24/7/365, and while some are great for productivity, the iPhone lacks what I call a real need to have.
Why do I say this? Last night CenterNetworks broke down the true cost of the iPhone. I am going to have to say, along with that, and his earlier reasons why it will not be the must have item, it pretty much sums up my feelings also.
Of course we have the Cisco debacle to also contend with. You should chime in with your vote right here. Concerning that whole issue, I found this today (from yesterday) stating that Cisco may not have an airtight case.
Technically Speaking, if you read Mae’s post(s) from last night on our local and hopefully a national human interest story — if you get one of these iPhone’s be ever vigilante and use it for what it truly was meant for – a phone!
