Big Prank?

I don’t know about this. I posted it on last night’s Link Blog Lock N’ Load session I had. Did this company run a big scam, or is this all a big hoax to get attention to them? No clue, but it keeps surfacing and I figured I’d give it a bit of a quick hit write up.

One thing that I did like about the Super Bowl XLI (NFL football for those that have no clue) was the Prince half time show. Now most of you are thinking “Ugh, I hate that dude… ” – but seriously, did you see him shred? I mean Prince is a bad ass guitarist. Beyond on the flowery crap, the makeup, the thing on his name – bottom line – if he would have stuck there course he would have been the next Jimi. Remember those comparisons when he first hit the scene? I do.

He certainly proved that he knew his guitar work. He shredded on that 15 minutes show during the half time show. That alone was great to hear and see. A real guitarist, even though he did the smart thing and that was to make money with the pop and glitz route, he can still shred. He puts many of today’s heavy guitarists to shame. He not only can rip on the guitar, he knows one thing that a lot of the guitar players of today forget. Prince can write great songs! Songs that are memorable to this day, and also crossover quite well into other genres.

Technically Speaking, was the whole thing that started this a hoax? Do I really care? Nope, but I do know this Prince could be a guitar god if he wanted to be!
