YouTube for the second time has been banned in Thailand. Now everytime I hear or read the word Thailand, I think of these guys. I wonder if the inspiration band for many of the top bands (see Motley Crue, Poison, etc.) from that decade were ever banned in Thailand?
Why do we look the other way when it comes to China? Well of course the answer is simple – money. China is more money, more business opportunities. If Thailand had a few more oil fields, I could see things being a bit different. China is far more important to the global scheme of business online then Thailand. Google knows it, and so do many other companies trying to lay a stake there.
Technically Speaking, you should go watch the banned video, as Kristen thinks it’s a hoot. Wow! – Asian countries, YouTube video bans, Chinese-American relations, and glam Rock n’ Roll from Sweden! You could only find that here on this blog, in one post.
