How the mighty have stumbled. First it was the hardcore gamers that flocked to Second Life. Then it was Reuters, IBM, Dell, and now it is child porn? It appears that just as I have said time and time again, and finally just gave up talking about it, Second Life is a big scam.
Second Life is nothing more then a game, and we can all see now that it is run by Linden Labs who has lost any control it may have had. This is where all the child pornographers have now gone. Interesting to see the Second Life, “we are about new business models” just crumbles with the Kiss of Death. You see, child pornography if let loose like this will spread like a virus and crush your business.
Are you paying attention now gamers? Those that thought Second Life was a cool business? I guess if you are in the child porn business it’s great business for you. For the rest of you still playing, and especially parents of teens, you might want to check about that Second Life uninstall option.
Technically Speaking, time to uninstall Second Life folks. It’s quite humorous to me when I’m so right about something, and then it comes up and slaps everyone right in the face. Second Life is not your real life, so uninstall and get out of there before the child porn consumes your hard drive. For those gamers that want to stay and help weed out the idiots, there is something called Project Open Letter which you might want to join today.
