Kevin Rose is the man with a plan. So what if the Digg users caused him more headaches then it was worth over a string of numbers. So what if people say he is the $60 million man, and laugh behind his back.
Rumor on the street is that he is starting his 3rd startup that is some sort of IM (instant messaging) competing tool? Now this should be interesting, and I’m quite surprised he went this route vs all the other potential startup routes. IM is sort of like there these days. The people that lead the way have established a pretty good foothold on the market.
Even though twitter is compared as a sort of IM tool, it’s more like group promotion and IM all rolled into one. I’m hoping that this new tool is going to make things faster, and better. I just can’t see a ton of room left in the IM marketplace at this time. Video, lifecasting, search, and twitter mash ups top my list of most interesting right now.
Technically Speaking, I could be wrong, it might be all a swerve he is spinning or it could be that maybe he does have something innovative to present the world.
