Two Hundred Sixty new porn sites daily. That is a staggering number of new porn sites to hit online. I mean, seriously, do the math. 260 sites times 365 days a year is a whopping 94,900 sites that come online in a year’s time! How many porn sites are really needed to satisfy the 76% of the male population that views it?
That’s overkill. I mean, how many of these sites are amateur crap? How many are nothing more then someone like Rex Dixon with a video camera? Not that I am turning out porn, but the stats go even further. Even though we all know that social networking passed up porn like back in March of this year, it is still generating money.
How much money? How about $89 a second. That’s more than you make at a $10 per hour job somewhere. I can see the attraction to creating one of those 260 daily sites. There was $2.84 billion generated in revenue in 2006.
Now that is something to think about.
Here is something else to think about.
What if you combined the two? Porn and social networking. Yes, I believe that is the future of porn. Even though some people will say it’s places with videos such as PornoTube , which I would not recommend opening at work, who hosts videos much the same as YouTube does.
Why stop at just the two, add the video hosting! I would say the future lies in a Porn-Social Network that also hosts videos. Now that would be a $5 billion a year revenue generator! :)
Technically Speaking, you have social networking with it’s billions, and then there is porn also with billions. Which do you choose? This is truly the case of picking a lesser of two evils.
