Yes, they are in the news again, but their MySpace news is very quiet. Why is that? Well for one, it was not well received by the blogosphere. Basically it was termed a pile of poop on a stick by this blog. I ripped it for good reason. I wasn’t the only one to do so.
Also noted this morning, it appears the NY Times is running an article concerning MySpace being served by eight states attorney general’s. They are stating that MySpace news is a pile of crap and to get it offline now before you further embarrass the great News Corp. who owns you.
Yes, that was a test to see if you are reading. :) Seriously, the eight states are taking up a collection now to see if they can sue MySpace into complying with real world values. Ok, not really taking up a collection, but you understand that they (the government) is playing hardball with MySpace now. This should be interesting to watch.
Technically Speaking, that is what is on MySpace today. Lawsuits and a terrible site that was hyped and failed.
