Thought Police just around the corner…

You think I am kidding? I’m dead serious. If you have attempted copyright infringement go into law, you can kiss everything we hold as freedom gone. The “Thought Police” will be next, and it will be just like in Minority Report (I really did not like that movie that much.), you will be arrested for crimes you “might have” committed.

What’s next the Dream Police? That was just as I intended it to be; humor to break up this very serious subject. For the second night in a row, I have to drop my technical thoughts and become political. It’s not exactly my forte or area, as I would make a better politician and speaker then to play Washington DC politics. Rex Dixon doesn’t like to play games, it’s either “On”, or “Off”.

So what is the game at stake here? It’s your freedom. It’s your “Thought Police”, it’s your digital media, it’s everything around you. Attempted copyright means, you quote my blog anymore, I’ll sue you and have you incarcerated for attempted copyright infringement. It means, when you quote blog posts or news articles, you are going to need to stamp it with so much “this was owned, written, copyrighted by this blog/this newspaper” that your credit lines will be longer then the actual post.

It means that if you read my feed, you might be in void of this site’s warranty. Just kidding, but I still might be able to sue you for reading and not destroying your computer. In fact, with the law, I’ll just have the local law enforcement agency confiscate your computer for me.

It means when you listen to that digital song, they might come take your mp3 player away from you. You just infringed on that musician’s copyright. It means….. this has to be the stupidest thing this administration has attempted to do.

Yes, this administration is dying and lying on it’s final days in office. Everything they have done has been one big failure. It’s almost like there is nothing this administration could do correctly except rig some voting machines to steer elections their way. That’s Watergate 101. So now with absolutely nothing to do but preach to everyone about how great it is that we are in the middle of war, and it’s only an illusion you are seeing concerning gas prices, they want to make up laws and crimes.

Laws that should never be written. Crimes that don’t exist. What is this telling you? Do you need a beacon of shining light down on you right now? Wake up, smell the turpentine in your coffee folks.

Give Me A Friggin’ Break
. Laws that are made up are the first signs of a leader’s inability to lead. It’s like this. Let’s take it down to the playground. Remember that kid or group of kids that just literally sucked at everything sports or recreational? He or she also happened to own the equipment, so they made up the rules as they went along to please themselves.

Same thing here. I hope that congress has enough back bone to laugh in the face of this administration and take care of business. That is another reason I couldn’t be a Washington DC politician, I would have to fight through the muck of what they think is business. What they perceive is business is no more then social posturing, and really no better then me coming up with catch phrases about myself. You know, “Lie to yourself, Lie to your … etc.. “

Technically Speaking, members of congress, this is Rex Dixon saying don’t let the smoke and mirror illusion of this administration take this one any further. Bury this like it should be. Tell the Attorney General to take that idea back to his playground pronto. It’s not even worth the time he spent on it. It’s not worth the 5 minutes I took to type this out either. It’s total rubbish. Trash. Please toss it right where it belongs.
