One more, because DOG or FOG is not good to have…

DOG or Distrust/Disdain of Google as Scoble puts it is something that needs to be examined. First it was FOG (Fear of Google), now the FOG has morphed into a DOG? Please, we need to realize that Google has built this empire that we now are calling FOG or DOG only due to the internet (people) letting them. I know that Microsoft did the same thing. It went on from a group of “OS” makers to the dominant OS maker.

People will always be people. Whether they are surrounded by a companies office furniture at a day gig, or the confines of writing from home. Either way, they never will change. Always supporting the underdog, always pulling for them to “make it”. When they do that, it becomes quick FOG and DOG before you know it.

I’ve said it many times before. We all are sheep in some way, shape, or form. Sheep as in, we all pulled for Google when it was Yahoo and AltaVista ruling the search spaces. When Google came along, all the “in the know” IT folks were gushing over how “fast and accurate” Google was. I know, as I was there making the switch from AltaVista.

Now those same people are probably all crying “FOG!” and “DOG!”. You know who you are, no need to hide behind your cubicle walls now. I was there, I watched you jump on the Google train. Such a shame that you now are FOG’d up and have a pet DOG problem.

Technically Speaking, it is really sad to watch people turn into barn yard animals. Speaking of that, have you seen any good, funny barn yard jokes or funny items lately? If you have, don’t forget to register and post them on the GMAFB!
