Panama is open for third parties…

Yahoo’s long awaited advertising platform is live. Open is a better term. It’s opened up for other third parties as of today.

Yahoo announced Monday that its Panama search advertising platform is now open to third parties.

Panama of course is the response to Google’s successful advertising platform that has proven to be a winner. Yahoo is a little late coming out with Panama, but hopefully they will be able to gain some traction. Competition is always good, and without it no one is left to blame if Google does take over everything.

One of the biggest mistakes I see online is companies not brave enough to compete. If you are not in the mood to compete, then you shouldn’t be here online trying to do business. Now when taking on Google, you have to have the power and money that Yahoo has. It should have been here awhile ago. Better late than never.

Technically Speaking, I’m sure there will be more talk this week about Panama, but linked above is the first look.
