SplashCast has acquired funding according to NewTeeVee that originated from Phil Hellmuth. Who is that you say? He is a professional poker star. He has a web site and blog, and uses SplashCast to spread his video content.
Technically Speaking, this proves that funding can come from just about anywhere these days. Phil, you made a great investment; my personal opinion.
