Stealing isn’t cool
It is not the right thing to do. Sure, the book executive was making a point, but stealing just isn’t cool. I think the point could have been made in a better way. How? Well I really don’t advocate crime as a way to make points. In my opinion it just gave me less of a reason to support what his agenda is.
I agree partially with his gripe, but with stealing the laptops, it makes me wonder if maybe it’s the book publishers that are in the wrong? Why would anyone want to support books if this is the way that high level book publishers act? Yes, it was the single act by one publisher, but it also shows me how desperate they must be.
Technically Speaking, it is never right to do wrong to prove a point. I for one think that the employees of the booth should have filed charges on this executive. I’m quite disappointed that charges were not filed. That is the only point that should have been made. Crime is not the way to go, big time executive or not, you were in the wrong.
