Google and eBay showdown, Google goes home
Google appears to have decided that in some cases discretion is the better part of valor. In this case, Google has decided to pull out of the Boston event that was about to take place.
eBay Live attendees have plenty of activities to keep them busy this week in Boston, and we did not want to detract from that activity. After speaking with officials at eBay, we at Google agreed that it was better for us not to feature this event during the eBay Live conference.
Technically Speaking, live to fight another day. In this case, it is more about keeping peace online and offline; for the moment.
