HeyCosmo, when they hit me up the other day, I was in the middle of course of working my social media person gig.
I would have loved to spend the time on the phone chatting and learning more. One thing I knew was that if they hit up Rex, than I know they would hit up the site that more VC/angel types read religiously on a daily basis.
I like what I see of the web cam, chat, and Texas Hold ‘em that they have incorporated into their site. Now I’m sure there will be more than just a card game.
CEO James Im says the company plans to make money with fee-based gaming, premium services and advertising. Right now, HeyCosmo expects to become a destination, but may also consider offering its technology to power existing social networks and casual gaming sites. Texas Hold ‘Em is currently the only game available, and HeyCosmo will have to greatly expand its library of social games if it wants to succeed.
