Lookery, who I work for in the role of Publisher Relations, had a bit of coverage yesterday. While Kristen did a fine job (and she always does!) of covering our company, there were a few things that we want to make clear.
We are not leaving Facebook. Our intent is definitely not to leave “Facebook apps in the dust“. Lookery for the Web is a service that is going to leverage information. While the advantages of being in Facebook are quite astounding if you are seeing it from a statistical standpoint, there are things outside of social networks that we feel are needing service. Lookery for the Web is going to address those needs, and we are going to do it in a way that should be quite compelling for many.
While the CNN.money article was almost like a teaser, it does help to reveal a bit more about what Lookery is doing. Up until this point, when I told people “Yeah, I work for Lookery.” – it was a bit hard to explain what that was besides being an ad network for Facebook apps.
Technically Speaking, more to be revealed very soon, so stay tuned and keep watching for changes coming to the Lookery information that you will find.
