FriendFeed is another in the series of social network aggregation machines. Just as Spokeo, who we interviewed in the past, and others are trying to do, this appears to be a start up of four ex-Googlers.
Now Mike predicts they will succeed, and I wonder if that is the truth. Ex-Googler’s making new companies that feed off the hand that fed them. Or rather we should say use the hand that fed them to get the upper edge and advantage over smaller competitors.
The main difference and on why they could possibly win the battle of the aggravation social networks is that they simplified things. They made it more of a feed vs another layered on top social network. There is one reason I actually learned about this being posted on TC today, and that was because of twitter.
Technically Speaking, there needs to be a short social messaging (twitter, jaiku, Pownce) aggregation machine being built; if it’s already not in the works somewhere!
