Ujogo (pronounced “you-joe-go”), a free, interactive, online poker site, today announced the addition of two poker industry superstars, Kelli Griggs and Chris Hughes, as well as sponsorship of poker pro Susie Isaacs. They will all play a significant role in positioning Ujogo as the number one destination for free online poker in the US.
Chris Hughes takes on the role of vice president of architecture. In this capacity, Chris will use his poker industry experience to continue to enhance Ujogo’s poker software and the overall user experience. Formerly, Chris was a technology director at Tiltware LLC, the software development firm used by Full Tilt Poker, now one of the top poker-for-money sites in the world.
Kelli Griggs joins the Ujogo team as director of sales and player relations. Through her resources and poker knowledge, Kelli will focus initially on partnerships with casinos, poker organizations and poker rooms. Kelli is best known for winning the 2006 Legends of Poker Ladies Night at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles. This win landed her a seat to compete against the pros as the only amateur in the 2006 World Poker Tour’s televised Ladies Night. Kelli ended up taking second place, beating out other top female pros.
Ujogo is also sponsoring poker pro, Susie Isaacs, back-to-back winner of the prestigious World Series of Poker ladies’ championship in 1996 and 1997. She will be invaluable in helping promote Ujogo among the poker community across the nation. Susie is the most published female writer on the subject of poker in the world. She is also a regular contributor to Casino Player, Strictly Slots, Poker Digest, and Card Player magazines, and she has a popular blog site at susieisaacs.blogspot.com.
