Patriotic Themed Karaoke Competition Offers $25,000 in Prize Money. God Bless America!

America has always used music as a positive force when things get tough. Every generation has its music and today’s America needs to find its voice. Karaoke is all about the performance and singing a patriotic song just makes you feel good. Let My Voice Be Heard is America’s Karaoke Competition.

“America is going through some really tough times”

A lot of talented people have joined this event to help judge – Lacy J. Dalton (Country Music Legend), Ronny North (Best Male Guitarist – All Access Magazine), Rod Black (Jet Black Stare), Alex Salzman (Wine and Chocolate band and Recording Industry Producer), Eric Barnett (Points North), Micky James (Cris Angel), Tina Michelle Boursiquot (Consultant and Strategist to Grammy winners including Mary J. Blige, DJ Robbin Torrey and Karen Bolton (Ravensnest Records).

“America is going through some really tough times,” said Doug Collins, founder of Let My Voice Be Heard. “This is a two song competition with one song required to be one of seven patriotic songs like The Star Spangled Banner or Lee Greenwood’s God Bless America. It is an online competition where singers make videos of their karaoke performance, upload them to www.YouTube.com and then send our judges the links.”

Our judges will then select the Top 500 finalists to move to the next round of competition where the number of contestants will be narrowed to a field of 100 contestants. From that point, fan votes and the judges’ decisions will select the Top Ten finalists to compete in a live competition on September 12, 2010 with a live band and our celebrity judges. The top prize goes to the #1 Karaoke Singer … $5,000 plus an assortment of sponsor gifts.
